According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 7,628 total arrests made in the US for arson offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (5.44K), followed by Black or African American (1.88K), and Asian (144).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 6,500 (85%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (5.02K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (1.48K).
