According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 5,936 total arrests made in US cities for arson offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (4.09K), followed by Black or African American (1.58K), and Asian (122).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 5,045 (85%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (3.74K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (1.31K).
