According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 424,055 adult arrests made in the US for larceny-theft offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (281.77K), followed by Black or African American (127.85K), and American Indian or Alaska Native (7.98K).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 359,199 (85%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (303.56K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (55.64K).
