According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 66,628 total arrests made in the US for stolen property; buying, receiving, possessing offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (40.33K), followed by Black or African American (23.85K), and Asian (1.05K).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 56,837 (85%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (44.71K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (12.12K).
