According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 60,525 adult arrests made in the US for stolen property; buying, receiving, possessing offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (38.80K), followed by Black or African American (19.44K), and Asian (994).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 51,898 (86%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (40.55K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (11.35K).
