According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, the total value of stolen properties in cargo thefts in the US was $674.41M, out of which $28.31M was recovered. Among all US states, Texas had the highest value of stolen cargo ($537.93M), followed by Maryland ($25.35M), Florida ($14.90M), California ($14.00M), and Illinois ($9.19M).
