According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, the total value of stolen properties in cargo thefts in the US was $1.33B, out of which $139.17M was recovered. Among all US states, Georgia had the highest value of stolen cargo ($1.01B), followed by Texas ($138.54M), California ($34.01M), Florida ($22.77M), and Kentucky ($14.46M).
