According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 16,403 adult arrests made in the US for vagrancy offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (10.19K), followed by Black or African American (4.22K), and American Indian or Alaska Native (1.76K).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 13,918 (85%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (11.50K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (2.41K).
