According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 115,832 total arrests made in the US for weapons carrying possessing etc offenses. There were 88,908 total arrests made in All Cities; 20,177 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 6,747 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 36,425 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group I - Cities had the highest (81), followed by Group II - Cities (58.4), and Total Cities (55.6).
