According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 153,389 total arrests made in the US for weapons carrying possessing etc offenses. There were 119,500 total arrests made in All Cities; 25,660 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 8,229 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 48,628 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group I - Cities had the highest (85.7), followed by Group II - Cities (60.3), and Total Cities (60.2).
