According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 145,223 total arrests made in the US for weapons carrying possessing etc offenses. There were 114,332 total arrests made in All Cities; 22,580 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 8,311 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 44,084 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group I - Cities had the highest (89.3), followed by Total Cities (56.1), and Group VI - Cities (52.2).
