According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 15,959 total arrests made in US cities for sex offenses except rape and prostitution offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (11.26K), followed by Black or African American (3.83K), and Asian (424).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 13,976 (88%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (9.53K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (4.44K).
