According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 13,501 total arrests made in US cities for sex offenses except rape and prostitution offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (9.36K), followed by Black or African American (3.41K), and Asian (352).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 11,755 (87%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (7.88K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (3.87K).
