According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 926,185 adult arrests made in US metropolitan counties for all offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (687.03K), followed by Black or African American (219.50K), and Asian (10.43K).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 803,375 (87%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (637.99K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (165.38K).
