According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 1,084,809 adult arrests made in US metropolitan counties for all offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (743.94K), followed by Black or African American (316.61K), and Asian (13.17K).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 929,080 (86%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (770.11K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (158.97K).
