By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (3.97M), followed by Black or African American (1.80M), and American Indian or Alaska Native (125.53K).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 5,152,383 (86%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (4.01M), followed by Hispanic or Latino (1.14M).
