US Number of Adult Arrests in Cities By Race and Ethnicity for All Offenses in 2024

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 4,417,676 adult arrests made in US cities for all offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (2.81M), followed by Black or African American (1.40M), and American Indian or Alaska Native (102.98K).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 3,821,209 (86%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (2.89M), followed by Hispanic or Latino (936.10K).
