US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Forgery And Counterfeiting Offenses in 2022
According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 23,315 total arrests made in the US for forgery and counterfeiting offenses. There were 16,854 total arrests made in All Cities; 5,292 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 1,169 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 10,686 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group VI - Cities had the highest (17.2), followed by Group V - Cities (11.9), and Group III - Cities (10.4).
