US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Forgery And Counterfeiting Offenses in 2023
According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 31,486 total arrests made in the US for forgery and counterfeiting offenses. There were 25,023 total arrests made in All Cities; 5,118 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 1,345 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 10,751 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group I - Cities had the highest (17.3), followed by Group VI - Cities (16.5), and Total Cities (12.6).
