US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Forgery And Counterfeiting Offenses in 2024
According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 32,358 total arrests made in the US for forgery and counterfeiting offenses. There were 26,231 total arrests made in All Cities; 4,804 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 1,323 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 10,789 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group I - Cities had the highest (20.3), followed by Group VI - Cities (15.2), and Total Cities (12.9).
