According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 146,785 total arrests made in the US for weapons carrying possessing etc offenses. There were 111,168 total arrests made in All Cities; 27,729 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 7,888 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 50,559 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group I - Cities had the highest (84.4), followed by Group II - Cities (63.2), and Group VI - Cities (62.3).
