According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 815 juvenile arrests made in US cities for murder and nonnegligent manslaughter offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as Black or African American (538), followed by White (264), and American Indian or Alaska Native (9).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 648 (80%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (461), followed by Hispanic or Latino (187).
