US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Driving Under The Influence Offenses in 2023
According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 676,948 total arrests made in the US for driving under the influence offenses. There were 441,981 total arrests made in All Cities; 131,718 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 103,249 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 308,395 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group VI - Cities had the highest (594.5), followed by Nonmetropolitan Counties (459.7), and Group V - Cities (278.6).
