US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Robbery Offenses in 2023

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 60,933 total arrests made in the US for robbery offenses. There were 53,514 total arrests made in All Cities; 6,744 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 675 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 13,145 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group I - Cities had the highest (50.7), followed by Total Cities (26.9), and Group II - Cities (23.6).

- Group II - Cities: Cities with a population of 100,000 to 249,999.

- Group V - Cities: Cities with a population of 10,000 to 24,999.
- Group VI - Cities: Cities with a population under 10,000.
