US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Robbery Offenses in 2024

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 58,477 total arrests made in the US for robbery offenses. There were 51,331 total arrests made in All Cities; 6,522 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 624 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 12,810 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.

In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group I - Cities had the highest (50), followed by Total Cities (25.2), and Group II - Cities (22).

  5. Group V - Cities: Cities with a population of 10,000 to 24,999.
  6. Group VI - Cities: Cities with a population under 10,000.
