According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 50,693 total arrests made in US cities for fraud offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (31.18K), followed by Black or African American (17.74K), and American Indian or Alaska Native (828).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 43,717 (86%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (35.96K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (7.76K).
