According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 78,823 juvenile arrests made in US metropolitan counties for all offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (45.28K), followed by Black or African American (31.85K), and American Indian or Alaska Native (834).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 67,153 (85%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (54.83K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (12.33K).
