According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 1,141 juvenile arrests made in US nonmetropolitan counties for violent crime offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (832), followed by Black or African American (241), and American Indian or Alaska Native (59).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 894 (78%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (799), followed by Hispanic or Latino (95).
