According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 37,148 juvenile arrests made in the US for violent crime offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as Black or African American (19.19K), followed by White (16.86K), and American Indian or Alaska Native (516).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 32,715 (88%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (23.84K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (8.88K).
