According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 37,167 juvenile arrests made in the US for violent crime offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as Black or African American (19.16K), followed by White (16.82K), and American Indian or Alaska Native (595).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 32,105 (86%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (23.64K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (8.47K).
