According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 29,709 juvenile arrests made in the US for violent crime offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as Black or African American (15.61K), followed by White (13.13K), and American Indian or Alaska Native (462).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 25,811 (87%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (18.35K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (7.46K).
