According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 326,763 adult arrests made in the US for violent crime offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (174.85K), followed by Black or African American (138.24K), and Asian (6.71K).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 286,586 (88%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (213.91K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (72.67K).
