According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 310,636 adult arrests made in the US for violent crime offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (188.86K), followed by Black or African American (108.01K), and American Indian or Alaska Native (7.50K).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 273,101 (88%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (200.32K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (72.79K).
