According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 338,211 adult arrests made in the US for violent crime offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (184.01K), followed by Black or African American (140.60K), and Asian (6.68K).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 306,540 (91%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (224.82K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (81.72K).
