According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 375,359 total arrests made in the US for violent crime offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (200.87K), followed by Black or African American (159.79K), and Asian (7.14K).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 339,255 (90%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (248.66K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (90.60K).
