According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 344,113 total arrests made in the US for violent crime offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (196.48K), followed by Black or African American (134.57K), and American Indian or Alaska Native (6.39K).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 300,106 (87%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (223.52K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (76.58K).
