According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 265,427 adult arrests made in US cities for violent crime offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (134.21K), followed by Black or African American (119.88K), and Asian (5.79K).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 243,450 (92%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (174.10K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (69.35K).
