US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Drunkenness Offenses in 2024

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 5,495 total arrests made in the US for drunkenness offenses. There were 5,339 total arrests made in All Cities; 117 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 39 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 3,290 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.

In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group VI - Cities had the highest (7), followed by Group V - Cities (6.6), and Group IV - Cities (3.5).
