US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Liquor Laws Offenses in 2024

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 84,206 total arrests made in the US for liquor laws offenses. There were 66,992 total arrests made in All Cities; 9,510 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 7,704 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 30,983 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.

In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group VI - Cities had the highest (86.5), followed by Group V - Cities (43.4), and Group IV - Cities (35.3).

  5. Group V - Cities: Cities with a population of 10,000 to 24,999.
