According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 434,967 adult arrests made in US metropolitan counties for all other offenses except traffic offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (300.14K), followed by Black or African American (125.75K), and American Indian or Alaska Native (4.18K).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 367,992 (85%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (312.09K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (55.91K).
