According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 432,809 adult arrests made in US metropolitan counties for all other offenses except traffic offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (305.52K), followed by Black or African American (117.83K), and American Indian or Alaska Native (4.78K).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 370,817 (86%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (313.50K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (57.32K).
