United States Hate Crime Offenses By Crime Type in 2015
According to the FBI UCR data, in 2015, there were 7,352 Hate Crime Offenses in the US. Destruction/Damage/Vandalism of Property was the highest type of hate crime committed (1,904), and constituted 25.90% of the total number of offenses. The second highest hate crime offense committed was Intimidation (1,889), constituting 25.69% of the total. The third highest hate crime offense commited was Simple Assault (1,732), constituting 23.56% of the total.
