Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2010, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Alabama was 1,222,435 and represented 26.57% of the total Alabama citizen population.

Among all Alabama counties, Jefferson had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (272.45K), followed by Mobile (140.40K), and Montgomery (121.86K).

In terms of percentages, Macon had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (82.72%), followed by Greene (81.10%), and Sumter (74.70%).
