Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2010, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for North Carolina was 875,795 and represented 13.26% of the total North Carolina citizen voting-age population.

Among all North Carolina counties, Mecklenburg had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (181.06K), followed by Wake (117.88K), and Guilford (107.03K).

In terms of percentages, Bertie had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (60.94%), followed by Hertford (58.76%), and Northampton (56.76%).
