Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2022, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for North Carolina was 998,375 and represented 12.91% of the total North Carolina citizen voting-age population.

Among all North Carolina counties, Mecklenburg had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (257.08K), followed by Wake (162.40K), and Guilford (137.24K).

In terms of percentages, Bertie had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (60.83%), followed by Hertford (58.94%), and Edgecombe (57.19%).
