Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2010, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Tennessee was 875,795 and represented 19.11% of the total Tennessee citizen voting-age population.

Among all Tennessee counties, Shelby had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (326.04K), followed by Davidson (117.28K), and Hamilton (47.42K).

In terms of percentages, Shelby had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (50.88%), followed by Haywood (49.37%), and Hardeman (39.34%).
