Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2021, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Tennessee was 990,635 and represented 19.28% of the total Tennessee citizen voting-age population.

Among all Tennessee counties, Shelby had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (362.44K), followed by Davidson (138.05K), and Hamilton (50.39K).

In terms of percentages, Shelby had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (54.68%), followed by Haywood (50.51%), and Hardeman (39.63%).
