Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Alabama was 889,640 and represented 25.31% of the total Alabama citizen voting-age population.

Among all Alabama counties, Jefferson had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (198.05K), followed by Mobile (98.14K), and Montgomery (88.19K).

In terms of percentages, Macon had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (81.42%), followed by Greene (78.92%), and Lowndes (71.69%).
