Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Hispanic or Latino of All Races citizen population for North Carolina was 107,870 and represented 1.19% of the total North Carolina citizen population.

Among all North Carolina counties, Mecklenburg had the highest Hispanic or Latino of All Races citizen population (59.87K), followed by Wake (49.01K), and Cumberland (26.46K).

In terms of percentages, Duplin had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Hispanic or Latino of All Races (11.65%), followed by Sampson (10.32%), and Lee (10.22%).
