Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Pennsylvania was 1,245,335 and represented 10.10% of the total Pennsylvania citizen population.

Among all Pennsylvania counties, Philadelphia had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (628.15K), followed by Allegheny (156.58K), and Delaware (102.03K).

In terms of percentages, Philadelphia had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (43.82%), followed by Delaware (19.06%), and Dauphin (17.44%).
