Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the citizen voting-age population for Nebraska was 1,305,335 and represented 71.44% of the total Nebraska population.

Among all Nebraska counties, Douglas had the highest citizen voting-age population (356.44K), followed by Lancaster (210.67K), and Sarpy (109.77K).

In terms of percentages, Garden had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (84.33%), followed by McPherson (82.86%), and Keya Paha (82.43%).
